All credits go to ha55ii, the original programmer of Stick Ranger. Ivan247 made the mod, not me. Copyright belongs strictly to ha55ii.The link to the mod should be near the top of the page that this link leads to:Some people over one the Dan-Ball wiki have figured out how to modify Stick Ranger, and they've come up with some pretty cool stuff that I really do wish ha55ii themselves would make. So I just thought I'd really showcase a completely custom class one of them made; the Dual Swordsman.Aside from the custom class, there are a few custom compo items as well.
However, much of the game is still the same. The new class and the compos really are simply added to the game. It's like 10 or so updates all being added at once and believe me, it's awesome. ^^;DI plan on running through the entire game with this team, uploading each part of my playthrough at my old-time usual of 4x actual play speed. I don't expect people to spend the same amount of time watching someone play an RPG as the person playing it spent playing it, lol xD I know I certainly never have!
I'm asking because I don't know too much about the game. I used to use a combo of sniper, gunner, gladiator, and boxer but the gunner cost too much to be useful and the boxer was constantly killed. So I tried two snipers and two gladiators and that seemed to work well. Currently I've decided to give all snipers a go, but I've reached and impasse with the only two available levels being misty grove 1 and underwater shrine. What is a better setup for be to try, or how can I beat the impervious bosses on the said levels?
(Currently my snipers have triple iron arrow 3, 12 dex/mag/str, and 508 LP with white stone 3. I'm using 3 critical's cards and a yellow crystal 3).
A Ranger is typically one who is a good tracker and can wield two weapons at once. The class also comes with a unique ability called 'Favored Enemy,' which grants bonuses to skill checks against a particular race, and some limited divine magic. Characters in Order of the Stick with levels in.
Yep, I also used lightning for the magicians early on. Late game though, I gave one magician a freeze type with diamond and quick's card to freeze most enemies indefinitely, and gave the other enemy any other attack type (usually thunder for sparsely populated enemies or fire for dense enemies, to maximize splash damage). As for the sniper, it was usually poison with knockback and quicks, or fire shot with knockback and quicks. Really useful for aerial enemies that try and swarm you, since the knockback will keep them from reaching you and attacking at all. Need to upgrade range for the sniper though.
For priest, I just use a physical type with long range.
